Jaime Flowers is an Assistant Professor at Stephen F. Austin State University. She teaches in the School Psychology Program in the Human Service College. She received her Ph.D at Chapman University.
Research Interest
- Developing and researching The Other Esteem Rating Scale (The OthERS) as a possible tool to identify individuals at risk of bullying behavior. Using Other-Esteem and empathy bolstering program to prevent bullying as part of a three tiered model of intervention.
- Examining current training gaps in School Psychologist graduate programs, especially in relation to conducting functional behavior assessment (FBA) and behavior intervention plans (BIP). Exploring possible avenues to create stronger FBA and BIP practitioners within the field of School Psychology and Special Education.
- Looking at single case research with meta-analysis. Using alternative methods to visual analysis such as percentage of non-overlapping data points (PND), percentage of all non-overlapping data points (PAND), non-overlap of all pairs (NAP) to evaluate applied behavior analysis single case design research.
